Lee Min Ho is a South Korean actor who is best known for his leading role as the leader of F4, Goo Jun Pyo, in the Korean adaptation of the popular manga series, Hana Yori Dango, titled Boys Over Flowers, in 2009. He started his career in 2005 since then has been cast in various TV shows, short dramas and minor movie roles.
His acting debut was in 2005, in MBC’s Love Hymn, appearing as a minor character. His first lead role came in 2007, starring as Cha Gong Chan in SBS’s Mackerel Run, an 8-part high-school drama.
His first big career break came when he was announced to be part of the Korean F4 on October 2, 2008. He was successful in getting the biggest role as F4’s leader, his character is Goo Joon Pyo in the Korean version, or Dao Ming Su in Taiwan version. He topbills alongside the actress Koo Hye Sun, Kim Bum and SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong.
The role of Goo Jun Pyo brought him to fame, and led to many endorsements including Levi’s Signature, LG Telecom, Samsung Anycall, Trugen, Market O, Cadillac CTS, Samsung, Cass Beer and Dunkin.
