As for back as I can remember, I've always packed my own lunch.

In elementary school, it was a peanut butter sandwich, some crackers, and an orange. When I started working in an office, I upgraded to whole grains and more sophisticated sandwiches.

On the days I didn't pack a lunch, I was amazes by how poorly I ate and how I often craved coffee or sugary snacks to get me through the afternoon. It took me a while, but I finally got it: my homemade lunches gave me a day full of energy and a positive outlook.

Curious to know if my food-mood experience had any science behind it, Elizabeth Somer, R.D., author of Food and Mood (Owl Books, 1999) said that the right foods will energize you and keep you in a happy mood. She further added saying that the wrong foods will send your mood and energy levels spiraling down.

According to Somer, most people have only a general idea of how food affects them - they know, for instance that not getting enough calcium can eventually lead to osteoporosis. But the link can be much more immediate than that. A healthy mix of complex carbohydrates, lean protein, good fats and B vitamins helps you produce the seratonin, endorphins, dopamine and norepenephrine that keep you feeling calm, happy and energized.

There's also a strong connection between eating foods you prepare and pack yourself and feeling good about what you eat, says Brian Wansink, Ph. D., author of Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think (Bantam, 2007). Even if you prepare something you don't like very much, Wansink says, the act of making and packing lunch will make it more pleasurable.

Don't eat lunch alone hunched over your desk. Wansink suggests getting out of the office: "Eating your lunch away from your desk and with another person increases your enjoyment and helps decrease your level of stress."

That's when I knew, food is much to spend with pleasure that would affect our every day living and our mood.

June is nearly approaching and what does it usually mean? It's a perfect month for wedding here and there. And so, maybe you are planning to settle down with the man or woman of your dreams this June of 2010. As a result, I love to recommend you with San Diego Cruise Wedding. It is an extraordinary kind of wedding celebration where mostly you are taking your vow with the nature. So romantic, right?

Actually, that is the place I ever knew for my entire life as last year's wedding celebration took place, perfectly in San Diego. My friend, Carla and Jackson Smith invited me to attend their wedding. And to tell you honestly, I said that if we only knew the place before me and my husband are getting married, we make San Diego Cruise Wedding the perfect idea. But anyway, I am recommending you to make your top priority and a wise choice to have that once-in-a-lifetime vow in the said place.

It is romantic, meaningful and extraordinary. It is confident and solemn. It's perfectly elegant. In fact, it feels like I want to have our wedding day celebration again as I have seen the place.

What's a backyard barbecue without chips and salsa? Potentially a lot healthier. A study at Clemson University in South Carolina found that people who double-dip this Mexican classic contaminate the bowl with up to 10,000 oral bacteria upon every plunge. Salsa was particularly germy due to its runny consistency, which allows saliva-tainted chunks to slide off half-eaten chips and back into the communal supply.

Hit the dip early and spoon an individual serving onto your plate to avoid any unwanted "secret ingredients." Late to the party? Stick with the guacamole, hummus or spinach - microbial levels tend to be much lower in these thicker dips.

On matters of security, President Obama and his soldiers have feverishly tried to convince Americans that they are doing everything in their power to ensure the country's safety on land and in air. The truth of the matter is somewhat different. Airports have certainly taken steps to screen passengers for box cutters, knitting needles, knives and such. But the process is anything but perfect. An investigating team attempted to take box cutters, razor knives and pepper spray aboard 14 flights on six separate airlines taking off from 11 different airports. They succeeded every time. And although passenger luggage is now more thoroughly screened at the gate, most cargo containers that regularly travel on commercial airliners are not checked for weapons or explosives.

I always heed on the latest news everyday. I don't even want to keep hanging reading the news and the next information (the continuation of it) needs subscription. That way is indeed disgusting.

Just recently, I have discovered Free Press Release. Getting use of their information for FREE prompts me to always visit the site whenever I grab the latest news.

Now, Free Press Release is my habit!

There are a few things that I don't need to worry about when picking a camera from our flowchart, because I have already taken them into account when recommending the best model for each camera type and budget.

Performance is something we've taken very seriously. We've tested how quickly each camera switches on, focuses and takes repeated shots (with and without flash, and i continuous shooting mode). Some budget recommendations are slower than we'd like but these cameras more than make up for it in terms of their image quality and features. All the others are up to scratch for performance.

Other important areas include battery life, the layout of controls and menus, build quality and quality-enhancing features such as optical image stabilisation and face detection. Again, our recommendations have taken these factors into account when establishing the best models in each category and budget.

Other features can be ignored simply because they are not important. Camera manufacturers and retailers obsess about how many mega pixels a camera has, but the relationship between mega pixels and image quality is loose at best and in many cases counter-intuitive. It is best to ignore mega pixels ratings and go by an image-quality tests. The same goes for digital zoom. Unlike optical zoom, where the lens magnifies the picture hitting the camera's sensor, a digital complete waste of time, and we're amazed this feature is still included on cameras and talked up deceitful or ignorant sales assistants.

Don't worry about which type of memory card a camera uses. However, it won't cost much to replace old cards if they're incompatible with your new camera.

NAIL CUT

My husband and I were invited to attend a big party by our friend, Nick last week. In the middle of the celebration, I break a nail. In order to prevent scratching or snagging my dress, I pick up a matchbox from the host's station. The book's striking surface is textured just enough to gently smooth the jagged edges of my broken nail. This wise solution makes me continuously enjoy the evening.

BLEEDING

I was dressed to impress my legs silky-smooth. Unfortunately, I moved the razor too fast and I ended up with a cut that won't quit bleeding. Instead of using a bandage, I grab the turmeric from my pantry. I sprinkle a dash of the bright yellow pick on the nick and waited a minute, then I dust it off.

BAD BREATH

I was dressed to impress for an important appointment with my female boss. Apparently, a quick huff in my hands reveals that garlic breath resulted from last night's scampi dinner is horribly threatening to steal the show from me absolutely not in a good way. And I'm out of mouth-wash.

Seeking ways to solve my bad breath, I gargle with 2Tbs. of lemon juice. Indeed, a quick solve!

FAT BELLY

I love summer. Indeed, this is a season of barbecues, balmy breezes, bathing suits...and bloats. Luckily, my stomach is just too distended to bear (or bare!). I just enjoy a cut of fresh honeydew melon chunks as a midday snack.

I've noticed that this juicy fruit packs - one-two punch against puffiness. Probably, maybe its high water content helps combat the mild dehydration that cause the body to retain fluids. And the fruit is one of nature's richest sources of the electrolyte potassium, which flushes bloat - inducing sodium of cells and restores proper fluid balance.

GRUNCHY TOTE

When I recently pulled my favorite leather - trimmed canvas handbag out of the attic, it was marred with dirt stains. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I rubbed dry gum eraser on a spot of the canvas. To my surprise, the dirt lifted immediately. I was so thrilled that I gave the entire bag a quick once-over. When I was done, it looked as great as it did when I bought it years ago. Best of all, I saved myself a trip to the dry cleaner.

Education plays a big role in the lives of many and I'm taking education in a serious sense.

Presently, I am working in a prestigious hotel here in Texas. My work is great, I can cave more. I can save much money because I want to be in school next school year.

I am weighing things which course should I get. I want a course that fits my interest. And what I'm interested in is more on calculating and dealing with numbers. I should decide concisely what course should I take because it pays a lot to educate. Huge amount of cash is needed.

I'm thinking if I go with Business Administration, Medical Claims and Billing, Accounting Services or Marketing.

I love all those courses but I'm undecided which one.

I have experienced great lost of things. Such important things like my laptop and cellular phone. In fact, I just recently have a new cell phone which I bought 3 days ago. I have a plan to purchase a new computer as soon as I receive my Christmas bonus salary this month.

It is really a problem for me, having no computer. Much more if I don't have a cellular phone because my work permits me to keep in touch with people.

As a result, as soon as I bought my new Samsung cellular phone, I have it engraved with Solid, Nickel, Silver Identification Plates - If found call...

If you value your things as an investment, better protect then against loss and enhance its beauty by affixing a personalized Nickel, Silver or Solid Brass Identification Plate permanently to your equipment, securely fasten with its self-adhesive backing to plastic, metal, vinyl, leather and most other nonporous surfaces. ]

It's an easy way to identify!

My husband and I love the waters. In fact, we spend time together in a month, no matter how hectic our schedules are, to unwind ourselves with the nature. We rest under the heat of the sun, swim under water, holding hands while walking together along the shore, witness the beauty of the sun as it sets, smile and talk a lot. It's like the beauty of nature romantically urges us to kiss, hug and talk.

But me being meticulous (aside from the romantic affair that we have), always make sure that we have all the thing that we need to pack up for our picnic. Such stuff as the waterproof slippers, mp3 speaker, easy bug waterproof, stick-on patch protection, lunchbox, waterproof camcorder, collapsible grill and hackysack-like balls.

Our trip is perfectly alright as we are completely ready with our picnic.

Moments like these - so silent, with serenity, alone in my room, prompts me to strum my guitar, creating the sound of music from the various songs that I love to sing. Mellow, ballad, classics and R&B songs produce my voice to sing and requires my hands to touch the strings. With the guide (guitar chords) right at my side, I am able to strike the right key.

How wonderful life is that every experience is like melody of songs and music!
