The movie, Spirited Away, is the most popular film ever released in Japan and it reaches now its peak all over the world. It is a wondrous fantasy about a young girl, Chihiro, trapped in a strange new world of spirits. When her parents undergo a mysterious transformation, she must call upon the courage she never knew she had to free herself and return her family to the outside world. This film is an adventure story that the heroine will be thrown into a place where the good and the bad dwell together and it is where she experienced the world. She sees herself through the crisis, avoids danger and gets herself back to the ordinary world somehow. Chihiro manages not because she has destroyed the evil but because she has acquired the ability to survive.
This film is a masterpiece of Mr. Hayao Miyazaki where at first it is a Japanese film but because of its great story and wonderful animation, it reach USA and all over the world. The masterpiece was translated in English-speaking audiences.
This film is awarded as Outstanding Achievement in an Animated Theatrical Feature (Best Picture), Outstanding Music, Outstanding Directing, Outstanding Writing, and Best Original Song.
Furthermore, it is presented by the Walt Disney Studios.
