Heat stroke occurs when the body is exposed to an excessive amount of heat and becomes unable dissipate the heat through sweating.
When heat stroke happens, the body’s temperature rises rapidly, the body loses its ability to sweat, and it is unable to cool down. People with heat stroke are dehydrated and require rehydration.
Some of the common symptoms of heat stroke are:
1. red flushed skin
2. fever - body temperature reaches 106 degrees or higher
3. seizure
4. headache
5. rapid pulse
6. unconsciousness
The common causes of heat stroke are:
1. lack of body fluids
2. high temperatures
3. overexposure under the heat of the sun
How to prevent heat stroke?
1.stay dehydrated
2. wear cool clothes
3. keep cool
