Hirsutism

Hirsutism is the excessive growth of hair.

These are several common ways to remove unwanted hair:

1. Electrolytes

It is a process by which hair follicles are destroyed by mild electric currents. It is quite expensive and tedious process because it requires an experienced operator.

2. Waxing

A warm wax which embeds the hair, is applied to the skin, allowed to harden and then removed quickly, plucking the hair in this process.

3. Depilatory

This is a preparation that destroys hair shafts or mechanically removes hair. This should be tested on the skin before use to determine whether it will irritate the skin.

4. Tweezers

This is the most common to use to remove hair from the face.
