These are some of the following clues for children’s readiness:
1. They can relate an experience.
2. They can stay by a job until it’s done.
3. They can tell stories about pictures.
4. They can easily tell pictures from left to right.
5. They are able to give attention in a group.
6. They make few mistakes in matching.
7. Children find likeness and differences quickly.
8. The teacher has been able to interest them greatly through readiness exercises.
9. Children seem normal in intelligence.
