Thanksgiving is closing in fast! I am making preparations for dinner this year, and also a schedule of what is airing on Thanksgiving night as far as specials are concerned. There are a few holiday movies airing again, but for something short, around a half hour long, a few networks are airing their usual specials. One of them is the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Special!
It was because of this I grew fond of the Charlie Brown cartoons and comic strip. The Thanksgiving special is what I look forward to the most out of the other specials in the series! Everyone's favorite Peanuts characters return for Thanksgiving. Lucy is up to her usual antics of tricking Charlie Brown into kicking the football, though it seems that kicking the football is a holiday tradition... Although the special itself is all about the Peanuts gang having Thanksgiving dinner and the things that makes the holiday special every year.
Over the few months, we've enjoyed watching TV with our recently installed High Definition DirectTV Channels because with the recent moving trip outside of the city: we cannot get our cable service reconnected due to limited support. But we can still see the show in time! The children are looking forward to it as well! Our family's fondness of the Charlie Brown special has become tradition. Well, I better get back to making Thanksgiving dinner plans!
