What is Savannah?

Savannah is said to be a tropical grassland. It occurs in hot regions where rainfall is very seasonal and the one that has been known as the best savannah is that of Africa.

The African savannah is a dry, dusty region for most of the year, and the rainy season lasts for only four months. The most common grass is red oat grass, and the savannah is also dotted with acacia and baobab trees. Some areas are fairly well wooded.
